If I am injured in a Florida truck accident, how will I pay for my medical bills?

Ultimately, Florida is a no-fault state. What that means is, your own PIP policy, which you’re required to carry by law from your auto insurance company, will cover your first $10,000 in medical bills. After that PIP policy is exhausted, you may use health insurance or some of the doctors that you’re treating with or need to treat with may be willing to take the case on, on what’s called a letter of protection, or an LOP. What that means is, they agree to treat you now and be paid through any settlement at the end of the case.
