The insurance company for either the condo association or whatever property it may be, they’re going to look for any reason possible to deny your claim. If they can start with saying it never even happened or not even place you at the property, then they’re going to begin there. Any way that you can document that you were at the property and actually involved in this incident is going to be helpful to your claim moving forward. The closer to the date of incident that you can document it, the better. Certainly, once you receive any emergency treatment that you may need, you do want to document it with the property manager as quickly as possible.
