Should I go to the doctor after my Florida car accident?
After your accident, you may or may not be feeling immediate pain. It’s not unusual for someone’s adrenaline to be pumping and not really feel a lot of pain in the beginning, and then, ultimately, as the day progresses, or even a couple days later, those injuries really start settling in and causing some discomfort. Certainly, as soon as you feel pain or discomfort, you should get checked out because you really don’t know what an underlying injury may be.
The truth is that the severity of the accident does not dictate the severity of the injury. Sometimes a very low impact and low speed collisions can cause some pretty significant injuries. There’s many people involved in really, really significant impacts that ultimately never really feel much pain from it.
