How long do you have to seek medical treatment to be able to qualify for PIP benefits?

Under Florida PIP law, you have 14 days to seek medical treatment in order to still have access to your PIP benefits. Through PIP, benefits can be up to $10,000 and it is really critical that you have some medical treatment in those first 14 days, or you’re going to completely lose access to that $10,000. Those are medical bills that don’t have to be paid back, that your insurance is going to pay and allow for a greater net recovery to you when it comes time to close out your case.
